In December 2022 CVIC partnered with Rydell of Grand Forks for its Angels on Wheels program to gift 12 vehicles to CVIC clients whose lives have been impacted by interpersonal violence. CVIC selected clients who had a lack of reliable transportation, effecting their ability to achieve independence and a sense of normalcy. CVIC selected clients based on their transportation, economic situation and family needs. Each client was gifted a vehicle valued at roughly $10,000 each, and carefully selected the vehicles based on each client’s family and personal transportation needs.
