CELEBRATING 20 YEARS
The Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Region is thrilled to introduce Gears of Gratitude, an initiative to celebrate 20 years of community engagement, investment, and vibrancy since the Foundation first opened its doors after the Flood of 1997.
Gears of Gratitude is made up of 2 parts: a community project taking place over the summer of 2018 and a community celebration held on November 15, 2018.
COMMUNITY PROJECT
Enthusiastically highlighting our community’s love of creativity and the outdoors, the Community Foundation has launched a citizen-designed bike project, with the goal of creating unique bicycles that also function as additions to the city’s vibrant art collection.
Dozens of local creators and sponsors have crafted unique, themed bicycle displays and scattered them around the Grand Cities. Find all 26 bikes, on display through September 2018.
COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
In recognition of the community’s efforts over the past 20 years, the Community Foundation invites you to Gears of Gratitude: A Community Celebration on Thursday, November 15, 2018. The evening will provide guests an opportunity to view the Gears of Gratitude bikes, connect with friends – old and new, and celebrate notable moments and milestones of the Community Foundation and the region.
Tickets will be available in September 2018.
