Founded in 2008, Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Each year, Giving Hearts Day provides a platform for charities to fund their missions through an ever-increasing community of donors, many of whom get to experience the joy of giving for the first time. The longest-running giving day in the country, Giving Hearts Day has helped participating charities raise more than $70 million since its founding.
Giving Hearts Day is hosted by:

Mission
The Grand Forks Foundation for Education is excited to announce our “Secure A Seat” campaign. Help us ensure ALL students have a seat on the bus, a seat at the lunch table and a seat in the classroom!
Our Story
We know that education is a key factor in breaking the poverty cycle. We have wonderful educators, and we need to ensure ALL students have a seat in their classrooms. Changing lives means creating an opportunity for young people to access education that will move them from their current situation to a situation that they can dream and believe is possible. We cannot do this unless they are in school. Our young people will not disappoint us if we invest and believe in their capacity to live their lives to the fullest potential. Help us raise funds to help us ensure a seat on the bus, a seat at the lunch table and a seat in the classroom!! #SecureASeat
