I-CAR Gold Class

The gold class designator given by I-CAR is a recognition that our Grand Forks body shop is committed to the ongoing advancement of our employee's education. In order to be a I-CAR Gold certified shop the business must obtain and maintain a level of training that is relevant not only to the industry today, but also the training is directed as role-relevant. This ensures that every employee of our body shop has had extensive training in their particular role, whether that be an estimator, a metal or paint tech or a manager. To maintain the prestigious I-CAR Gold status the business and its employees must continue to expand their knowledge skill sets by completing additional courses that will cover advancements in repair procedures and manufacturer specific technologies.

According to the I-CAR website, it is estimated that less than 20 percent of repair shops currently meet the rigorous Gold Class standard and with the evolving technologies many shops will continue to fall behind in education that is relevant to the current OEM specifications.
