We cannot take vehicles with bike racks, exposed tools, or frame damage through our car wash, but can handwash your vehicle for an extra $40.
We are not able to remove seat covers or truck bed covers, so please remove them before arriving for your detail.
Vehicles with any type of human or animal biohazard are subject to an extra charge by quote.
We are not able to remove car seats.
We offer a 10% discount on all details to our Rydell Carwash FastPass members.
Please clean out your center counsel and glove box before dropping your vehicle off.

Where is Rydell Detail located?

The detail department is located next to the car wash exit doors in front of our free vacuums.

Is there a pick-up and drop-off service?

Yes! We offer courtesy rides to anywhere in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks city limits.

How much does a detail cost?

There are a few different options for detailing, it can vary on the size of vehicle you have and what work you want done. An average interior detail starts at $209 and an average total detail starts at $259. the entire detail menu of prices.

When can I get my car in for detailing?

All details are by appointment. Vehicle drop-off times and pick-up times are flexible to fit your schedule. Please contact us if you have any questions or your detail online now.

What do I need to do to prepare my vehicle to be detailed?

We ask you remove all personal belongings from your vehicle, including items in the glove box, center console, and trunk or bed of your truck. If items are left in the vehicle, we will put them in a bag that will be in your vehicle upon pick-up. Although we take the utmost care with anything left inside your vehicle, we cannot be responsible for any personal items left behind. We are also not able to remove car seats, so if those are not removed, we will clean around them.

What happens if there is inclement weather on the day of my appointment?

If there happens to be inclement weather on the day of your appointment, we can reschedule your appointment until the weather cooperates. All efforts will be made to accommodate your appointment requests regarding weather issues.

What is the 3-step buffing process?

First, we buff the vehicle to remove scratches. Next, we polish the vehicle to restore its original shine. Finally, we apply a high-gloss finish that enhances the depth and luster of your vehicle’s paint, leaving it looking brand new.

What is buffing?

Buffing is a technique that involves the use of a machine with a rotating pad that applies a compound to the car's surface. This compound is typically abrasive and helps to remove deeper scratches, oxidation, and other imperfections from the paintwork.

What is "clay baring" the exterior surface?

Auto Detailing Clay Bar is an engineered resin compound used to remove contaminants from the surface of your car’s paint, glass, fiberglass, and metal. Detailing clay glides along the surface of your paint and grabs anything that protrudes from the surface. The particle sticks to the clay and is therefore removed from your vehicle.

Do we sell Gift Cards?

Yes! we have gift cards available for all Detail services.

Do we remove window tint?

Currently, we do not remove tint from vehicles.

How long does a detail take?

All details are dependent on many factors including the type of detail, size of vehicle, and dirtiness. The majority of details will be completed on the same day.

How does drop-off and pick-up work?

When scheduling your appointment, we will set a time for you to drop off your vehicle with our detail department. During that time, we will examine your vehicle to address any concerns and set time expectations. Once your vehicle is done will call you to set up a time for you to pick up your vehicle.

Where should I park?

Park in front of the building left of the car wash exit. Look for the parking signs.

Am I able to get an oil change as well?

Yes, we can work with our Service Department to get your vehicle in for an oil change. Just let us know that you would like to add an oil change when scheduling your detail appointment.
